Promotion Ts & Cs (“Rules”)
- This promotional competition ("Competition") is run by VALR Pty Ltd ("VALR").
- This offer may be used in conjunction with any other competition or promotion run by VALR, except where the terms of such other competition prohibits or excludes winning in this current Competition.
- The Competition period ("Competition Period") begins at 00:00 am UTC, March 9th 2026 and ends at 23:59 pm UTC, April 5th 2026 (“closing date”).
- 4 Rounds:
- Round 1 = 00:00 UTC 9 March, 2026 - 23:59 UTC 15 March, 2026)
- Round 2 = 00:00 UTC 16 March, 2026 - 23:59 UTC 22 March, 2026)
- Round 3 = 00:00 UTC 23 March, 2026 - 23:59 UTC 29 March, 2026)
- Round 4 = 00:00 UTC 30 March, 2026 - 23:59 UTC 5 April, 2026)
- Monthly Round = 00:00 UTC 9 March, 2026 - 23:59 UTC 5 April, 2026
- VALR reserves the right to make a determination on the rewards and reward winner(s) in its sole and absolute discretion.
- Trade frequency is calculated based on the number of executed trades, not orders placed or cancelled.
- If two or more Participants have the same number of eligible trades, the Participant who reached that trade frequency first, based on the UTC timestamp of their final eligible trade recorded by VALR, will rank higher. If a tie still remains, VALR reserves the right to determine the final ranking in its sole and absolute discretion.
Eligibility
- The Competition is available to both existing VALR customers who have completed their KYC 2 (Fully-verified status) on VALR, as well as new VALR customers who sign up for a VALR account during the Competition Period (“Participant”)
How to enter
- Spot Trade at least $10 worth of eligible BTC & XAUT pairs per trade, and/or Futures Trade at least $100 worth of eligible BTC pairs per trade during the Competition Period for your trade to be eligible and count towards your total trade frequency. Spot Trades must exceed $10 per trade and Futures Trades must exceed $100 per trade to be eligible.
- Eligible Spot Pairs: BTC/USDC ; BTC/USDT ; BTC/ZAR ; XAUT/ZAR ; XAUT/USDT. Simple Buy & Sell trades are also eligible.
- Eligible Futures Pairs: BTC/USDT-PERP.
Rewards
- Each week, a new $2,000 shared reward pool will become available. The BTC & XAUT shared prize pool will revert to $50 / $1,950 at the start of each round.
- The Weekly Rewards Pool of $2,000 will be allocated as follows based on the total eligible trade count for XAUT/ZAR & XAUT/USDT:

- The more eligible trades made each round (frequency), the higher the chances to get into the Top 5 shared reward pool leaderboard for each respective coin.
- Eligible Participants can be in the Top 5 shared reward pool for both BTC & XAUT Maker & Taker leaderboards as well as be eligible for both special end-of-month prizes.
- Randomly selected Eligible Participants with Eligible Trades also stand to win weekly BITGOLD Crypto Bundle airdrops, from an airdrop reward pool amounting to $500 worth of BITGOLD in total.
- Rewards will be distributed in whole or in part to qualifying Participants within 7 South African business days after each round.
- VALR reserves the right to make a determination on the rewards and reward winner(s) in its sole and absolute discretion.
- Rewards are not guaranteed, may differ per Participant and could amount to zero.

Personal Information
Any personal information provided to VALR by a Participant for purposes of this Competition will be treated in accordance with VALR’s Privacy Policy.
The nitty gritty
- The Competition is open to all VALR customers, except VALR's directors, partners, employees, contractors, agents, consultants and their immediate families, any designated market makers as well as any persons resident in VALR's list of prohibited countries.
- Participation by all Participants constitutes acceptance of these Rules, VALR's Terms of Service, VALR's Futures Terms of Service and Risk Disclosures. By entering the Competition, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria and you agree to accept that VALR may make decisions relating to this Competition in its sole and absolute discretion and further that any decision made by VALR in terms of these Rules and the Competition as final and binding including but not limited to any decisions regarding rewards, the reward pool and reward payouts. Any Participants found violating this clause will be removed from the Competition and VALR may freeze or block such Participant's VALR account.
- For the purposes of this Competition, each day will be considered to run from 00:00 - 23:59 UTC.
- VALR reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary the Rules and the Competition without prior notice, including but not limited to cancelling, extending, terminating or suspending the Competition, the Rules, the rewards, the reward parameters, the reward pool, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and/or number of rewards or winners.
- VALR reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any Participants from participating in the Competition and claiming rewards or disqualifying specific trades:
- Where VALR finds the Participant to be party to any anticipated, suspected or actual:
- Fraud;
- Inappropriate, dishonest or abusive activities;
- Use of fake or fraudulent accounts;
- Manipulation or violation of these Rules, or
- Market manipulation, self-dealing, wash trading or illegally bulk registered accounts; or
- For any other reason as determined by VALR.
- Where VALR finds the Participant to be party to any anticipated, suspected or actual:
- If you are selected as a reward winner, you agree and consent to VALR publishing your name, your VALR reference number / tag and/or social media handle on VALR's social media pages, and VALR may make media announcements, publications of names, photographs of any reward winner(s), provided that any reward winner(s) may expressly elect to decline this.
- VALR will announce on its social media pages when the Competition has ended. No further rewards will be awarded once VALR has made such an announcement. The Participant should visit VALR's social media pages regularly for updates.
- These Rules will be governed and interpreted in accordance with South African law and any disputes arising from the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
Disclosure
Trading or investing in crypto assets is risky and may result in the loss of capital as the value may fluctuate.

Waiver
The Participant hereby releases, waives and discharges VALR and its affiliates from any and all liability, costs or expenses, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever for any loss or damages, that may be sustained by the Participant arising out of or relating to the Participant’s participation in the Competition, or while in any way engaged with activities related to the Competition, wherever, whenever, or however the same may occur, regardless of who is at fault and including as a result of the negligence or fault of VALR or its affiliates.
