How It Works
For Referrers: $5,000 Reward Pool
If you have a fully verified VALR account:
You can earn $5 worth of SOL for every successful referral during the promotion period.
Plus, if you Spot trade at least $50 worth of SOL, you will receive an extra $10 worth of SOL as a bonus reward.
Rewards are not guaranteed for all participants, but will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until the $5,000 reward pool is finished. The faster you act, the higher your chances are of winning.
Rewards are capped at $250 per Participant.
For Referred Users: $2,000 Reward Pool
If you sign up with a referral code and fully verify your account, you can earn a share of a $2,000 SOL reward pool. Here’s how:
The first 50 users who sign up and verify will receive $10 worth of SOL.
The next 100 users will receive $5 worth of SOL.
10 lucky users will randomly win $25 worth of SOL.
5 lucky users will randomly win $50 worth of SOL.
5 newly referred users who sign up, verify, and trade at least $25 worth of SOL during the promotion period may win $100 worth of SOL each.
Rewards are not guaranteed for all participants but will be randomly distributed at VALR’s discretion.
Important Notes

Ts & Cs
Promotion Ts & Cs (“Rules”):
1. This (“Promotion”) is run by VALR Pty Ltd (“VALR”).
2. This offer may be used in conjunction with any other competition or promotion run by VALR, except where the terms of such other competition or promotion prohibits or excludes winning in this current Promotion.
3. The Promotion period (“Promotion Period”) begins at 00:00 am UTC, March 14th 2025 and ends at 23:59 am UTC, March 16th 2025 (“closing date”).
4. Winners will be announced within 7 South African business days after the closing date.
5. Rewards will be distributed within 7 South African business days after the closing date.
6. The Promotion is only available to existing VALR customers who have completed their KYC 2 (Fully-verified status) on VALR as well as new VALR customers who sign up for a VALR account and complete their KYC 2 (Fully-verified status) during the Promotion Period (“Participant/s”).
7. Referred Users are required to sign up for a VALR account during the Promotion Period using the Participant’s VALR referral code.
8. During the Promotion Period, Participants can earn up to $5 worth of SOL for each successful referral using the Participant’s VALR referral code, and as a bonus if Participants Spot trade at least $50 worth of SOL, the eligible Participant stand to unlock a once-off $10 worth of SOL in rewards, in total each Participant can earn a maximum of $250 worth of SOL.
9. The total reward pool during the Promotion Period for this activity is $5,000. The maximum reward per Participant is $250 worth of SOL.
10. Rewards are not guaranteed, may differ per Participant and could amount to zero.
11. Referred users, who sign up and fully verify their account during the promotion period stand a chance to share in a reward pool of an additional $2,000 worth of SOL:
The first 50 users who sign up and fully verify their account during the Promotion Period get $10 worth of SOL.
The next 100 users who sign up and fully verify their account during the Promotion Period get $5 worth of SOL.
10 lucky newly referred users who sign up and fully verify their account during the Promotion Period get $25 worth of SOL (to be selected at random).
5 lucky newly referred users who sign up and fully verify their account during the Promotion Period get $50 worth of SOL (to be selected at random).
5 newly referred users who sign up, fully verify their account, and trade at least $25 worth of SOL during the Promotion Period, on Spot, Spot Margin, or via Simple Buy/ Sell may receivet $100 worth of SOL each.
12. Rewards will be distributed to eligible Participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Rewards will be distributed in SOL only. VALR reserves the right to make a determination on the rewards and rewards winner(s) in its sole and absolute discretion.
13. Participation in this Promotion does not preclude a Participant or Referred User from benefiting from VALR’s Referral Programme.
Personal information:
Any personal information provided to VALR by a Participant for purposes of this Promotion will be treated in accordance with VALR’s Privacy Policy.
The nitty gritty:
1. The Promotion is open to all South African VALR customers, including South African passport holders as well residents of South Africa, excluding VALR’s directors, partners, employees, contractors, agents, consultants and their immediate families, any designated market makers and any persons resident in VALR’s list of prohibited countries.
2. Participation by all Participants constitutes acceptance of these Rules, VALR’s Terms of Service and Risk Disclosures. By entering the Promotion, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria and you agree to accept that VALR may make decisions relating to this Promotion in its sole and absolute discretion and further that any decision made by VALR in terms of these Rules and the Promotion as final and binding including but not limited to any decisions regarding rewards, the reward pool and reward payouts. Any Participants found violating this clause will be removed from the Promotion and VALR may freeze or block such Participant's VALR account.
3. For the purposes of this Promotion, each day will be considered to run from 00:00 - 23:59 UTC.
4. VALR reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary the Rules and the Promotion without prior notice, including but not limited to cancelling, extending, terminating or suspending the Promotion, the Rules, the rewards, the reward parameters, the reward pool, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and/or number of rewards or winners.
5. VALR reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any Participants from participating in the Promotion and claiming rewards or disqualifying specific trades:
5.1. Where VALR finds the Participant to be party to any anticipated, suspected or actual:
Fraud;
Inappropriate, dishonest or abusive activities;
Use of fake or fraudulent accounts;
Manipulation or violation of these Rules, or
Market manipulation, self-dealing, wash trading or illegally bulk registered accounts; or
5.2. For any other reason as determined by VALR.
6. If you are selected as a reward winner, you agree and consent to VALR publishing your name, your VALR reference number / tag and/or social media handle on VALR’s social media pages, and VALR may make media announcements, publications of names, photographs of any reward winner(s), provided that any reward winner(s) may expressly elect to decline this.
7. VALR will announce on its social media pages when the Promotion has ended. No further rewards will be awarded once VALR has made such an announcement. The Participant should visit VALR’s social media pages regularly for updates.
8. These Rules will be governed and interpreted in accordance with South African law and any disputes arising from the Promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

Waiver
The Participant hereby releases, waives and discharges VALR and its affiliates from any and all liability, costs or expenses, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever for any loss or damages, that may be sustained by the Participant arising out of or relating to the Participant’s participation in the Promotion, or while in any way engaged with activities related to the Promotion, wherever, whenever, or however the same may occur, regardless of who is at fault and including as a result of the negligence or fault of VALR or its affiliates.
