Competition:
This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by VALR Pty Ltd (“VALR”).
This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other competition or promotion run by VALR.
The competition ends at 11:59 pm SAST, April 7 2023 (“closing date”).
The competition is only valid for Entrants who have completed their KYC verification on VALR.
How to enter:
To enter, Entrants must complete verification of their identity and be fully signed up on the VALR platform before the closing date and time.
Only 1 (one) entry per person will be allowed.
Entrance into the prize draw is free.
The prize:
Each prize consists of a Bose Quiet Comfort 45 set of headphones.
5 (five) prizes will be awarded in total.
No Entrant may win more than 1 (one) prize per prize draw.
All correctly completed entries will be entered into a prize draw.
The winner will be notified via email within 5 (five) working days of the closing date.
Personal information:
Any personal information provided to VALR by an Entrant for purposes of this Competition will be treated in accordance with VALR’s Privacy Policy.
The nitty gritty:
The Competition is open to all VALR customers except VALR’s directors, partners, employees, contractors, agents, consultants and their immediate families.
Participation by all Entrants constitutes acceptance of these Rules and VALR’s Terms of Service. By entering the Competition, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria and you agree to accept any decision made by VALR in terms of these Rules as final and binding.
Should any of the prizes referred to above, for any reason whatsoever, become unavailable, VALR may in its sole discretion award a similar prize in value.
VALR reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary the Rules without prior notice, including but not limited to canceling, extending, terminating or suspending the Competition, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and/or number of winners.
The prize is exclusively for the prize winner and is not transferable, exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for its cash or other product value.
Prizes will be awarded on a voetstoots basis, and VALR does not guarantee as to the extent, patent or latent defects, the nature, quality or legality of improvements, or the legality of any activities practiced thereon, and will not be held liable for any damages arising from same.
The winner must claim their prize within 30 (thirty) days of winning the prize. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, the right to claim the prize will lapse and VALR reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these Rules. The prize will be delivered to the winner’s physical address within 15 (fifteen) working days after the winner provided VALR with their physical delivery address. If any prize winner’s contact details are no longer valid, they will forfeit the prize. VALR will not be responsible and assumes no liability for any loss suffered as a result of the prize winner providing an incorrect delivery address, or for any failure to deliver the prize due to the unavailability of the prize winner on the delivery date or at the delivery address provided.
The prize winner must provide valid proof of identification when redeeming the prize.
If you are selected as a prize winner, you agree and consent to VALR publishing your name and/or social media handle on VALR’s social media pages, and VALR may make media announcements, publications of names, photographs of any prize winner(s), provided that any prize winner(s) may expressly elect to decline this.
These Rules will be governed and interpreted in accordance with South African law and any disputes arising from the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
