VALR’s Referral Quest
VALR’s Referral Quest will run from 20 - 24 February 2026.
During this five-day promotion, participants can earn points toward tiered mystery gifts from a $1,250 reward pool by referring friends who complete full account verification. Users who achieve a minimum aggregate trade value equivalent to $50 (excluding fees) on Simple Buy & Sell within the promotion period are also eligible for $5 in Bitcoin drawn from a separate, first-come, first-served $1,250 reward pool.
In addition, the participant who accumulates the highest referral points will receive $250 in crypto, while one randomly selected new referral who trades at least the equivalent of $50 on VALR during the period will also be awarded $250 in crypto.

Reward Specifics:
Upon successfully completing the applicable Promotion requirements, you’ll be eligible to receive a Mystery Gift reward, which may include Futures trading fee discounts or cryptocurrency rewards, as determined by VALR in accordance with the Promotion’s terms and conditions.
Rewards are credited/distributed within 7 days after the end of the Promotion Period.
Important Notes
Eligible participants may receive a Mystery Gift reward, which may consist of either Futures trading fee discounts (“Futures Trading Fee Discounts”) or cryptocurrency rewards, as determined by VALR.
Mystery Gift rewards containing cryptocurrency will be distributed within 7 South African business days after the end of the Promotion Period.
Futures Trading Fee Discount rewards are subject to a maximum rebate cap of 250 USDT per participant and will be credited to eligible users within 7 days after 24 February 2026.
Where a participant receives a Futures Trading Fee Discount after the Promotion Period, all eligible futures trades executed between February 25th, 2026 at 00:00 UTC - March 25th, 2026 at 23:59 UTC on all futures trading pairs available on VALR will qualify for the discount, subject to the applicable cap.
The total promotional reward pool for Mystery Gift cryptocurrency rewards is capped at $2,500, split into two reward pools: $1,250 for referrers and $1,250 for newly referred users, allocated on a first come, first served basis until depleted.
$250 will be rewarded to the participant with the highest number of qualifying points during the Promotion Period.
$250 will be rewarded to one randomly selected newly referred user who has traded at least the equivalent of $50via Simple Buy & Sell during the Promotion Period.
VALR reserves the right to make a determination on the rewards and reward winner(s) in its sole and absolute discretion.

Mystery Gifts will be determined randomly by VALR in its sole and absolute discretion. VALR provides no representations or warranties regarding the Mystery Gift, including, but not limited to, its fitness for a particular purpose or suitability for a customer.

Any personal information provided to VALR by a participant for purposes of this Promotion will be treated in accordance with VALR’s Privacy Policy.
The nitty gritty:
1. The Promotion is open to all VALR customers, except VALR’s directors, partners, employees, contractors, agents, consultants and their immediate families, any designated market makers as well as any persons resident in VALR’s list of prohibited countries.
2. Participation by all participants constitutes acceptance of these Rules, VALR’s Terms of Service and Risk Disclosures. By entering the Promotion, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria and you agree to accept that VALR may make decisions relating to this Promotion in its sole and absolute discretion and further that any decision made by VALR in terms of these Rules and the Promotion as final and binding including but not limited to any decisions regarding rewards, the reward pool and reward payouts. Any participants found violating this clause will be removed from the Promotion and VALR may freeze or block such participant's VALR account.
3. For the purposes of this Promotion, each day will be considered to run from 00:00 - 23:59 UTC.
4. VALR reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary the Rules and the Promotion without prior notice, including but not limited to cancelling, extending, terminating or suspending the Promotion, the Rules, the rewards, the reward parameters, the reward pool, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and/or number of rewards or winners.
5. VALR reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any participants from participating in the Promotion, suspend their accounts, revoke all associated rewards, and/or disqualifying specific trades:
5.1. Where VALR finds the participant to be party to any anticipated, suspected or actual:
Fraud;
Fraudulent registration, including providing false identity verification (KYC) information, using others’ KYC details, or registering multiple accounts;
Inappropriate, dishonest or abusive activities, including but not limited to click farming, device farming, or using malicious tools for fraudulent purposes;
Use of fake or fraudulent accounts;
Manipulation or violation of these Rules, VALR’s rules, VALR’s policies, campaign terms, conditions or announcements (as updated from time to time);
Market manipulation, self-dealing, wash trading, laundering trades or illegally bulk registered accounts; Breach of local regulatory requirements; or
Any other activities with the intent or result of abusing, disrupting, or undermining the legitimate operation of the Promotion, as determined by VALR.
5.2. For any other reason as determined by VALR.
6. If you are selected as a reward winner, you agree and consent to VALR publishing your name, your VALR reference number / tag and/or social media handle on VALR’s social media pages, and VALR may make media announcements, publications of names, photographs of any reward winner(s), provided that any reward winner(s) may expressly elect to decline this.
7. VALR will announce on its social media pages when the Promotion has ended. No further rewards will be awarded once VALR has made such an announcement. The participant should visit VALR’s social media pages regularly for updates.
8. These Rules will be governed and interpreted in accordance with South African law and any disputes arising from the Promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
9. Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and may not be sold, bartered, gifted or substituted, except at VALR’s sole and absolute discretion. VALR reserves the right to substitute a reward of equal or greater value if necessary.
10. VALR is not responsible for any lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted or malfunctioning entries, payments, transactions, or communications, including those caused by network, system, device, or third-party failures.
11. Mystery Gift winners will be determined by VALR in accordance with these Rules.

Waiver
