How to Participate

New Users:

2. Trade at least $2,000 in volume on eligible Spot Margin pairs.

Eligible Trading Pairs

The competition includes 43 eligible trading pairs, featuring BTC, ETH, SOL, and more against USDT, USDC, and ZAR.

Examples of Eligible Pairs:

• BTC/ZAR, BTC/USDT, BTC/USDC

• ETH/BTC, ETH/ZAR, ETH/USDT, ETH/USDC

• XRP/ZAR, XRP/USDT, XRP/USDC

• SOL/ZAR, SOL/USDT, SOL/USDC

• DOGE/USDT, DOGE/ZAR, SHIB/ZAR, SHIB/USDT

Share 15,000 USDT in Rewards

1. Top 20 Traders by Total Volume

• The top 20 traders across all eligible pairs will share a 10,000 USDT reward pool.

2. Top Trader per Eligible Pair

• The trader with the highest volume on each of the 43 trading pairs will share in a 5,000 USDT reward pool.

• Rewards per pair range from 25 USDT to 500 USDT based on total volume.

Leaderboard Rankings

VALR will update the leaderboard regularly, showing the top traders by total trading volume. Traders can check their rankings on the competition page and aim to secure their spot in the prize pool.

• 1. Do I need to register separately for the competition?

  No, as long as you trade at least $2,000 on eligible pairs during the competition period with a fully verified (KYC 2) account, you will automatically be included.

• 2. How are winners determined?

  Winners are ranked based on total trading volume across eligible pairs. The top 20 overall traders and the top trader for each eligible pair will receive rewards.

• 3. Can I win in multiple categories?

  Yes! You can win in both reward categories, and if you're the top trader in multiple pairs, you can maximise your total rewards.

• 4. When will rewards be distributed?

  Rewards will be credited to winners’ VALR accounts within 7 business days after the competition ends.

• 5. Where can I check my ranking?

  Leaderboard updates will be available throughout the competition period. Keep an eye on VALR’s competition page and Telegram channel for real-time updates.

• 6. Do I need to enable margin trading to participate?

  No, you do not need to enable margin trading to be eligible to compete. You can trade on Spot without using the 5x Margin feature and still participate in the competition.
  
  However, enabling margin trading can help increase your trading volume, which in turn will increase your chances of ranking higher on the leaderboard and winning rewards.
