Terms & Conditions
PROMOTION TS & CS (“RULES”):
- This promotional campaign ("Promotion") is run by VALR Pty Ltd ("VALR").
- This Promotion may be used in conjunction with any other competition or promotion run by VALR, except where the terms of such other competition or promotion prohibits or excludes winning in this current Promotion.
- The Promotion period ("Promotion Period") begins at 00:00 am UTC, December 1st, 2025 and ends at 23:59 pm UTC, December 31st, 2025 ("closing date").
- This Promotion is available to all qualifying new customers on VALR who sign up using the STORMERS2025 referral code, and fully verify their account ("Participant/s").
- Participants must complete the general registration form for this Promotion and provide all required details for potential reward distribution. Public aliases (i.e. public VALR usernames) required for registration must be accurately submitted; Incorrect or missing information may result in disqualification.
- VALR reserves the right to make a determination on the rewards and reward winner(s) in its sole and absolute discretion.
- Rewards are not guaranteed, may differ per Participant and could amount to zero.
- Winners will be announced within 7 South African business days after the closing date.
- Rewards will be distributed within 7 South African business days after the closing date.
- Winners of Bitcoin and crypto airdrops will see rewards automatically credited into their account within 7 days after the promotion has ended.
- Winners may be highlighted in marketing emails such as newsletters and on VALR's social media pages.
- Mystery Gifts shall be determined by VALR in its sole and absolute discretion. VALR makes no representations or warranties regarding the mystery gift, including but not limited to its fitness for a particular purpose or customer.
- Customers who engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities for the purpose of farming points risk being disqualified and black listed for any and all future Promotions and Competitions.
- This Promotion is available to all new customers on VALR who sign up using the STORMERS2025 referral code, fully verify their account, and complete the registration form within the Promotion Period (“Participant/s”).
ELIGIBILITY:
HOW TO ENTER:
- To participate in the tasks listed below, a Participant must sign up on VALR using the STORMERS2025 invitation code, fully verify their VALR account, and complete the Registration Form.
- To earn points, Participants must complete specific task requirements as outlined below.
- It is the sole responsibility of the Participant to ensure that the information submitted is correct and complete. Participants with incorrect or incomplete submissions on the Registration Form will not be eligible for rewards.
TASKS
- 20 Points: Deposit at least R2,000. To collect 20 points, an eligible Participant must:
- Cumulatively fund your VALR account with at least R2,000 worth of capital, via Bank Transfer, Crypto Deposits or MoonPay. Multiple deposits are allowed within the Promotion Period.
- 10 Points: Use Simple Buy & Sell to purchase R1,000 worth of Crypto. To collect 10 points, an eligible Participant must:
- Purchase R1,000 or more of any cryptocurrency on VALR using Simple Buy & Sell during the Promotion Period (multiple transactions that cumulatively meet or exceed R1,000 qualify).
- 5 Points: Stake R500 or more. To collect 5 points, an eligible Participant must:
- Stake a minimum of R500 worth of SOL, TRX or AVAX on VALR for at least 1 hour, during the Promotion Period.
- 10 Points: Spend R250 at Pick & Pay using VALR Pay. To collect 10 points, an eligible Participant must:
- Spend R250 at any Pick n Pay using VALR Pay during the promotion period.
- 20 Points: Lend and earn a yield on VALR. To collect 20 points, an eligible Participant must:
- Access the lending feature via the VALR app or website.
- Select any crypto asset or South African Rand (ZAR) for lending.
- Specify the amount you wish to lend and set the minimum yield rate you are willing to accept.
- Earn an hourly yield to qualify, with the flexibility to unlock your funds in as little as one hour (points are only earned once your lending starts generating yield).
- 20 Points: Make a Futures Trade of at least $50. To collect 20 points, an eligible Participant must:
- Place a Futures trade worth at least $50 on any Futures trading pair on VALR during the Promotion Period.
- 5 Points: Enable 2FA for enhanced security. To collect 5 points, an eligible Participant must:
- Enable 2FA to enhance account security.
REWARDS:
Participants collect points throughout the Promotion Period, with rewards distributed at the end of the Promotion Period based on the following tiered system:
- Tier 1: Collect at least 20 points
- Reward: Mystery Gift.
- Tier 2: Collect at least 40 points
- Rewards: Mystery Gift and crypto airdrop.
- Tier 3: Collect at least 65 points
- Rewards: A Mystery Gift package, Bitcoin + crypto airdrops.
- Tier 4: Collect 80 point
- Rewards: A Premium Mystery Gift package which may contain Bitcoin + crypto airdrops, exclusive platform benefits and other discretionary premium Mystery Gifts.
- Eligible Participants will receive a Mystery Gift, which may contain Futures trading fee discounts ("Futures Trading Fee Discounts"), Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency rewards of which the amounts are determined by VALR.
- Mystery Gifts containing crypto currency as a reward will be distributed within 7 South African business days after the Promotion Period.
- Futures Trading Fee Discounts, capped at 500 USDT per person, will be credited to eligible users between February 1 and 7, 2026, for trades executed from 00:00 am UTC, January 1st, 2026 and ends at 23:59 pm UTC, January 31st, 2025
- VALR reserves the right to make a determination on the rewards and reward winner(s) in its sole and absolute discretion.
- Rewards may differ per Participant.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Any personal information provided to VALR by a Participant for purposes of this Promotion will be treated in accordance with VALR's Privacy Policy.
THE NITTY GRITTY:
- The Promotion is open to all new VALR customers, except VALR's directors, partners, employees, contractors, agents, consultants and their immediate families, any designated market makers as well as any persons resident in VALR's list of prohibited countries.
- Participation by all Participants constitutes acceptance of these Rules, VALR's Terms of Service, VALR's Futures Terms of Service and Risk Disclosures. By entering the Promotion, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria and you agree to accept that VALR may make decisions relating to this Promotion in its sole and absolute discretion and further that any decision made by VALR in terms of these Rules and the Promotion as final and binding including but not limited to any decisions regarding rewards, the reward pool and reward payouts. Any Participants found violating this clause will be removed from the Promotion and VALR may freeze or block such Participant's VALR account.
- For the purposes of this Promotion, each day will be considered to run from 00:00 - 23:59 UTC.
- VALR reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary the Rules and the Promotion without prior notice, including but not limited to cancelling, extending, terminating or suspending the Promotion, the Rules, the rewards, the reward parameters, the reward pool, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and/or number of rewards or winners.
- VALR reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any Participants from participating in the Promotion, suspend their accounts, revoke all associated rewards, and/or disqualifying specific trades:
- Where VALR finds the Participant to be party to any anticipated, suspected or actual:
- Fraud;
- Fraudulent registration, including providing false identity verification (KYC) information, using others' KYC details, or registering multiple accounts;
- Inappropriate, dishonest or abusive activities, including but not limited to click farming, device farming, or using malicious tools for fraudulent purposes;
- Use of fake or fraudulent accounts;
- Manipulation or violation of these Rules, VALR's rules, VALR's policies, campaign terms, conditions or announcements (as updated from time to time); or
- Market manipulation, self-dealing, wash trading, laundering trades or illegally bulk registered accounts; or
- Breach of local regulatory requirements; or
- Any other activities with the intent or result of abusing, disrupting, or undermining the legitimate operation of the Promotion, as determined by VALR; or
- For any other reason as determined by VALR.
- Where VALR finds the Participant to be party to any anticipated, suspected or actual:
- If you are selected as a reward winner, you agree and consent to VALR publishing your name, your VALR reference number / tag and/or social media handle / tag on VALR's social media pages, and VALR may make media announcements, publications of names, photographs of any reward winner(s), provided that any reward winner(s) may expressly elect to decline this.
- VALR will announce on its social media pages when the Promotion has ended. No further rewards will be awarded once VALR has made such an announcement. The Participant should visit VALR's social media pages regularly for updates.
- These Rules will be governed and interpreted in accordance with South African law and any disputes arising from the Promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

WAIVER:
The Participant hereby releases, waives and discharges VALR and its affiliates from any and all liability, costs or expenses, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever for any loss or damages, that may be sustained by the Participant arising out of or relating to the Participant’s participation in the Promotion, or while in any way engaged with activities related to the Promotion, wherever, whenever, or however the same may occur, regardless of who is at fault and including as a result of the negligence or fault of VALR or its affiliates.
