Promotion Ts & Cs (“Rules”)
- This promotion ("Promotion") is run by VALR Pty Ltd ("VALR").
- This offer may be used in conjunction with any other competition or Promotion run by VALR, except where the terms of such other competition or Promotion prohibits or excludes winning in this current Promotion.
- The Promotional period ("Promotion Period") begins at 00:00 am UTC, January 11th 2025 and ends at 23:59 pm UTC, March 30th 2025 ("closing date").
- This Promotion is available to VALR's existing Fully-verified customers and any qualifying Fully-verified new customers on VALR ("Participant/s").
- Registration for this Promotion is not necessary and this Promotion is available to all qualifying Participants, save for those excluded from participating in this Promotion in accordance with these Rules.
- Rewards for weekend promotional activities will be distributed within 7 South African business days of the respective weekly promotional activities.
- Winners of weekend activities, as well as winners of the final rewards will have their respective rewards automatically credited into their VALR account within the specified timeframes. Reward winners may also be highlighted in VALR marketing emails such as newsletters and on VALR's social media and blog pages.
- Winners will be notified via push notification through the VALR app upon receiving a reward, provided notifications have not been disabled.
- Any decisions regarding trade volumes, ranking and prize payouts will be made by VALR in its sole and absolute discretion and the Participant agrees to accept any decision made by VALR in terms of the Promotion as final and binding.
- Rewards are not guaranteed, may differ per Participant and promotional activity, could amount to zero and are distributed on a qualifying basis.

- All Weekend Spot and Futures trading by Participants during the Promotion Period will be discounted 15% for Spot Trading fees and 25% for Futures Trading fees. The discounted fee amount paid will be credited to Participants weekly within 3 days after the respective weekend during the Promotion Period, up to a maximum rebate of $50 USDC and/or USDT per eligible Participant and a maximum discounted fees pool of $1,000 per weekend and split $500 for Saturdays and $500 for Sundays during the Promotion Period.
- If the full discounted fees pool of $500 per Saturdays and $500 per Sundays is reached then a first come first served distribution will be in place for qualifying Participants.
Eligibility and Rewards
- New and existing Fully-verified VALR account holders are eligible to participate in this Promotion which runs from 00:00 am UTC, January 11th 2025 to 23:59 pm UTC, 30 March 2025 ("Promotion Period").
- To qualify for the weekend Top 10 Futures rewards for a specific weekend, a Participant must achieve a minimum Futures trading volume of $5,000 or more on any Futures trading pairs on VALR during the weekend dates within the Promotion Period.
- To qualify for the weekend Top 10 Spot rewards for a specific weekend, a Participant must achieve a minimum Spot trading volume of $500 or more on any Spot trading pairs on VALR, including Simple Buy/Sell transactions, during the weekend dates within the Promotion Period.
Top 10 Weekend Spot & Futures Rewards:
- In order for an eligible Participant to qualify for a reward under the Top 10 Weekend Spot Traders or Top 10 Weekend Futures Traders, they must rank among the Top 10 Participants on the leaderboard at the end of the specified weekend periods, which start at 00:00 am UTC, January 11th 2025 and ending at 23:59 pm UTC, March 30th 2024. That Participant will then be eligible to share in a reward pool of $500 in the Top 10 Weekend Spot Traders and/or $500 in the Top 10 Weekend Futures Traders.
- Rewards for each weekend are distributed the following way:

- Eligible Participants are allowed to win in both leaderboard rewards after every weekend activity during the Promotional Period.
Personal Information
Any personal information provided to VALR by a Participant for purposes of this Competition will be treated in accordance with VALR’s Privacy Policy.
The nitty gritty
- The Competition is open to all VALR customers, except VALR's directors, partners, employees, contractors, agents, consultants and their immediate families, any designated market makers, corporate accounts as well as any persons resident in VALR's list of prohibited countries.
- Participation by all Participants constitutes acceptance of these Rules, VALR's Terms of Service and Risk Disclosures. By entering the Competition, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria and you agree to accept that VALR may make decisions relating to this Competition in its sole and absolute discretion and further that any decision made by VALR in terms of these Rules and the Competition are final and binding including but not limited to any decisions regarding rewards, the reward pool and reward payouts. Any Participants found violating this clause will be removed from the Competition and VALR may freeze or block such Participant's VALR account.
- For the purposes of this Promotion, each day will be considered to run from 00:00 - 23:59 UTC.
- VALR reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary the Rules and the Competition without prior notice, including but not limited to cancelling, extending, terminating or suspending the Competition, the Rules, the rewards, the reward parameters, the reward pool, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and/or number of rewards or winners.
- VALR reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any Participants from participating in the Competition and claiming rewards or disqualifying specific trades:
- Where VALR finds the Participant to be party to any anticipated, suspected or actual:
- Fraud;
- Inappropriate, dishonest or abusive activities;
- Use of fake or fraudulent accounts;
- Manipulation or violation of these Rules; or
- Market manipulation, self-dealing, wash trading or illegally bulk registered accounts; or
- For any other reason as determined by VALR.
- Where VALR finds the Participant to be party to any anticipated, suspected or actual:
- If you are selected as a reward winner, you agree and consent to VALR publishing your name, your VALR reference number / tag and/or social media handle on VALR's social media pages, and VALR may make media announcements, publications of names, photographs of any reward winner(s), provided that any reward winner(s) may expressly elect to decline this.
- VALR will announce on its social media pages when the Competition has ended. No further rewards will be awarded once VALR has made such an announcement. The Participant should visit VALR's social media pages regularly for updates.
- These Rules will be governed and interpreted in accordance with South African law and any disputes arising from the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

Waiver
The Participant hereby releases, waives and discharges VALR and its affiliates from any and all liability, costs or expenses, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever for any loss or damages, that may be sustained by the Participant arising out of or relating to the Participant’s participation in the Competition, or while in any way engaged with activities related to the Competition, wherever, whenever, or however the same may occur, regardless of who is at fault and including as a result of the negligence or fault of VALR or its affiliates.
